Terms of Service

Welcome to Al-Anaam. These Terms of Service govern your use of the Al-Anaam platform ("Platform"), operated by Al-Anaam Trading Company. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

"Platform" refers to the Al-Anaam website and mobile applications. "User" refers to any individual who accesses or uses the Platform. "Seller" refers to a User who lists livestock for sale. "Buyer" refers to a User who purchases livestock. "Listing" refers to any animal offered for sale on the Platform. "Escrow" refers to the secure payment holding service provided by the Platform.

Users must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid Saudi national ID or Iqama. All account information must be accurate and up to date. Users must verify their identity through Nafath to access selling features. Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their account credentials.

All listings must accurately describe the animal being sold, including breed, age, health status, and clear photographs. Misleading or fraudulent listings are strictly prohibited and will result in account suspension. The Platform reserves the right to remove any listing that violates these terms or community guidelines.

Auction bids are binding commitments to purchase. Bidders must pay a refundable deposit before participating. The highest bidder at auction close is obligated to complete the purchase within the specified timeframe. Failure to complete payment may result in forfeiture of the deposit and account penalties.

All transactions are processed through the Platform's secure payment system. Buyer payments are held in escrow and are not paid to the seller while the order is still open. Escrow is released when the buyer confirms receipt, or automatically 7 days after delivery is recorded if the buyer has neither confirmed nor opened a dispute. Delivery may be recorded by the buyer or by the approved transport provider. The Platform charges a commission on completed sales as disclosed during listing creation.

Sellers are responsible for ensuring animals are properly prepared for transport. Shipping must be arranged through Platform-approved transport providers for nationwide delivery. The Platform does not itself insure animals in transit, and a transport provider's own cover is a matter between the provider and the parties. Buyers are encouraged to inspect the animal as soon as it arrives, and may open a dispute at any time before the order is completed.

A dispute may be opened at any time from the moment the order is shipped or marked ready for pickup, until the order is completed. An order is completed when the buyer confirms receipt, or automatically 7 days after delivery is recorded. After an order is completed, a dispute may still be opened about the animal's health, provided it is opened within 48 hours of delivery. Both parties must provide evidence to support their claims. The Platform will review the dispute and issue a binding decision within 5 business days. A decision may be a full refund, a partial refund, a replacement, or no refund. The Platform's dispute resolution decision is final and binding on both parties.

All content on the Platform, including logos, text, images, and software, is the property of Al-Anaam Trading Company. Users retain ownership of content they upload but grant the Platform a non-exclusive license to display and distribute such content. Unauthorized reproduction or distribution of Platform content is prohibited.

The Platform acts as a marketplace facilitator and is not a party to transactions between buyers and sellers. Al-Anaam is not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of listed animals. The Platform's total liability is limited to the commission fees collected on the relevant transaction. Al-Anaam is not responsible for losses arising from unauthorized access to user accounts.

Al-Anaam reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Users will be notified of material changes via email or Platform notification. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
